Tomorrow:
Raising an Angel
“I
used to tell Monica “I love you so much it hurts.” And Monica, on more
than one occasion, said “Mommy, I want to die before you because I don’t
think I could live without you.” (Claudia Vellozzi Averhoff, Monica’s
mother)
Life
5/6/02
Drifting through the air,
Setting never,
Lighting up her spirit,
To the sky.
Swimming around,
Giving herself to people,
Every day.
Talking herself away from people,
Every day.
Giving feelings to everyone.
She wants to give love, happiness, and peace.
But hate, sadness and war always creep in.
Some of her gifts cause destruction,
To her.
Some of them
Make her fuller.
Without her we would never be,
Her spirit is what makes us exist.
She wants us to be grateful towards her.
She wants us to love her and live her
To the fullest.
She is life.
